Lipomas are slow-growing, benign fatty lumps that are situated between your skin and the underlying muscle layer. They are usually soft, doughy to the touch, and move easily with slight finger pressure. While harmless, they can cause discomfort if they grow larger or press on nearby nerves.
Sebaceous Cysts
Sebaceous cysts are common, non-cancerous sacs under the skin that contain a cheesy or oily material. They typically develop from blocked sebaceous (oil) glands. If they become inflamed, infected, or aesthetically bothersome, surgical excision is the definitive cure.
